Specificity

Species Reactivity:

Although VEGF was detectable in non-human primate, feline, and canine plasma, the assay has not been validated for these species.

Cross Reactivity:

The SMC^® Human VEGF-A High Sensitivity Immunoasay Kit was not found to be cross-reactive with the following:

·      rhVEGF-B

·      rhVEGF-C

·      rhVEGF-D

Accuracy:

·      Minimum of 5 serum samples spiked with average recovery of 103% with a range of 95-110%

·      Minimum of 5 plasma samples spiked with average recovery of 93% with a range of 80-107%
